Youth Introduction to Pistol – Ages 12-16

This is a three-hour class for youth in both the classroom and on the outdoor range. The class not only teaches proper gun safety for both on and off the range, but also allows the youth to experience “hands on” instruction in the safe loading and firing of a .22 caliber firearm. The first three hours cover safety, the parts of a gun and how they work, and the fundamentals of shooting. They will work with real guns but without live ammunition for the classroom portion. The last hour is at an outdoor range with live ammunition. The class includes eye and ear protection, target, use of a firearm and 10 rounds of ammunition. An adult is required to be in attendance.
