This class gives you an introduction to handguns and you will learn to shoot in a safe, fun and relaxed atmosphere. The cost is $85 and includes eye and ear protection, target, 10 rounds of ammunition and the use of a firearm. We will discuss how to purchase your first firearm, and I will have many different types of firearms available for you to try during the shooting portion of the class. I can guarantee that you will have lots of fun and you will become more comfortable with the use of your firearm.

Debra is knowledgeable, well-trained, and has a gift to make you feel comfortable. It can be quite intimidating going... to a CCW class. Debra created a place of "no question is a dumb question". My comfort level with firearms greatly increased after this one class. I later took the Firearms Class from her and loved it! It was full of hands-on with my gun, knowing how the gun works and ammunition, questions about holsters for women, and the best part was the shooting range. Debra comes highly recommended! I would go to her classes over and over again. Knowledge is power and when it comes to firearms there is so much to learn. Debra gave me the confidence to carry and handle a firearm. Debra did a fantastic job on the firearms class. I found it very informative and interesting as well as being very... helpful. I found new tips on how to rack a gun that for me as a woman made a huge difference. Being able to handle different guns and get the feel for them will help me on choosing which gun I would like to purchase. Debra was an amazing instructor. So patient with everyone's skill level. Very personalized instruction. She worked with... me to ensure I was comfortable with a gun and understood how it operated within the group class environment. On the range, she worked to ensure each member of the class had a positive experience; understood the theory learned earlier in the day; and had a memento to take home in the form of our own target. It is so empowering to take a class on gun education taught by a woman for women. She went through the ins and outs of... a gun and made it a safe place for answering any questions. There were women of all skill level there and me, being a beginner, definitely felt like I could ask all of my silly questions. Before I came in I was scared of guns, mostly because of my lack of education around them, by the end of the class I felt comfortable holding, shooting and safely handling a gun. I also felt empowered to know that I could get my own gun to protect myself and know how to be safe and responsible. 10/10 recommend!read more
